Advisory
Entering Syria? Get the ground truth
before you commit capital.
I built and ran Syria's first full e-commerce platform for six years, through blackouts, currency collapse and broken supply lines. Today my field team reports from Syrian markets twelve times a month.
I advise consumer brands, retail groups and platforms on what actually works on the ground here.
Most advice on Syria is two years old
Since the transition, Syria has become one of the most talked-about and least understood markets in the region. Most of what is written about it is either outdated, or written by people who have never operated here.
I fund and run Mokhtar Al Souq, a field media project publishing twelve episodes a month from inside Syrian markets: price updates, merchant interviews, and on-the-ground trade movement. It reaches 3.59 million views a month.
That means when you ask me what a product costs in Damascus this month, or which distribution channel is actually moving goods, I am not guessing and I am not quoting a 2023 report.
Three ways to work with me
Start with an intro call
Before any commitment, fifteen minutes to find out whether I am the right person for your situation. I ask about your market, your timeline and the decision you are trying to make, and you leave knowing whether I can help and what working together would look like.
This is an introduction, not an advisory session. No commitment either way.

01Diagnostic Call
$50060 minutes
Sixty minutes. One decision.
Bring your specific question: a market, a partner, a product, a go/no-go. You leave with a direct answer and a written summary of what I would do in your position.
- A short intake form beforehand, so I arrive prepared, not asking basics
- Written summary within 48 hours, whether or not we work together
- The fee is credited in full toward a Market Entry Package if you proceed within 30 days
